I have just read this book after seeing it in the library. It is very French!
By Marie de Hennezel I was attracted to it as I have some Henzey’s in my Family Tree. They were Protestants who fled France after being persecuted and ended up making glass in Stourbridge. Anyway, back to the book, it basically says that if you love and laugh and have joy you never truly grow old.
She also says that in the Hebrew language there is one word “guil” which is used for age and joy.
So I mean to go arround with a grin the size of a water melon – will you join me?
